Hudy Weiss scored 14 points and the Lions (4-4) went on the road to hand the Heat (5-1; 12-4) their first league loss of the season. Heschel led by five at the half but without two injured starters their second half woes continued as they managed just 10 points after the break. The Heat shot just 3 of 13 from the free throw line for the game. They were led by Jesse Abed's 10 points.

#9 Sting improve to 5-0 in the league, 9-4 overall. Thunder now 3-10, 0-6 in league play.
