Tier 1 Quarterfinals

Moses Smeke’s 16 points led four players in double figures as the Warriors (37-2) won their 23rd straight game. Jack Haber added 13 points, Mark Sardar had 12 and Phil Sherr 10. Nate Weinstock had 15 points and Raanan Gewurz 10 for the M-Cats (26-3).

#2 YULA 57 #7 Ida Crown 52 OT

Alex Gabbay scored 17 points and Yishai Rosenblatt added 11 to lead the Panthers (24-13). Jakob Wortman led the Aces (15-9) with 26 points and Moshe Weisenberg added 10.

#3 Flatbush 73 #11 Beth Tfiloh 43

The Falcons (26-5) led by 1 early in the 3rd quarter but went on a 16-0 run fueled by two technical fouls to take control and poured it on from there. Beni Keda led Flatbush with 24 points and Isaac Cooper added 13. Michael Cohen had 9 points for the Warriors (26-9).

TABC 39 Shalhevet 36 OT

The Storm (16-5) overcame a 10-point halftime deficit to make the semifinals for the second time in three years. Eyal Kinderlehrer had 11 points including two late free throws to force overtime and Yoni Mandel scored 10. Aiden Bitran led the Firehawks (25-12) with 18 points.

Yacov Ohayon scored 20 points and Simon Alloul added 17 to lead the Heat. The Kings (18-11) had four players in double figures, Asher Kahlon (13 points), Chezky Levitt (12) and Daniel Benjamini and Izzy Weiner (11).

MTA 48 Cooper Memphis 45

The Lions (4-15) overcame a 7-point halftime deficit to get into Tier 2 and avenge an early-season loss in the Cooper Tournament. Doniel Baron led MTA with 18 points and Josh Treuhaft added 14. Yosef Vanderwalde had 14 points for the Macs, Benny Freiden added 12 and Jack Kampf scored 11.

Tier 1 Qualifiers

Moses Smeke scored 17 points and the Warriors (36-2) cruised to their 22nd straight win. Josh Treuhaft had 12 points for the Lions (3-16).

#2 YULA 51 (23-13) #15 Kohelet 40 18-9

The Kings (18-9) put up a fight before the Panthers (23-13) were able to pull away in the 4th quarter. Yoni Holender led YULA with 12 points, Yishai Rosenblatt added 11 and Alex Gabbay had 10. Chezky Levitt scored 13 points and Izzy Weiner and Daniel Benjamini added 11 each for the Kings.

#3 Flatbush 77 Fuchs Mizrachi 43

Isaac Cooper scored 16 points, Beni Keda added 15 and Ronnie Chaaya had 12 to lead the Falcons (25-5). Nate Jacobs led the Mayhem (15-10) with 18 points and Moshe Jacobs added 13.

#4 Shalhevet 57 #13 DRS 50

Aiden Bitran scored 24 points and Sam Jacobson added 20 as the Firehawks (25-11) overcame a 6-point halftime deficit to advance. Joe Aaron led the Wildcats (14-12) with 15 points.

#5 TABC 63 #12 Berman H.A. 52

Eyal Kinderlehrer scored 37 points and Ayden Gurin added 10 as the Storm (15-5) pulled away in the 4th quarter. Alex August led the Cougars (23-12) with 13 points and Gabey Marguilies and Itai Rozmaryn added 10 each.

#11 Beth Tfiloh 66 #6 Valley Torah 59

The two-time defending champion Wolfpack (22-7) had their Sarachek-record 9-game win streak snapped. Michael Cohen led the Warriors (26-8) with 24 points, Dani Ocken added 14 and Julian Kontoff had 11. Gabriel R’bibo had 26 points for Valley Torah.

#7 Ida Crown 46 #10 Ramaz 35

The Aces (15-8) used a 19-7 4th quarter to hold off the Rams (22-15). Avi Okner scored 14 points, Moshe Wiesenberg added 12 and Jakob Wortman had 11 for Ida Crown. Milan Kushner scored 15 points for Ramaz.

#8 Maimonides 55 #9 HAFTR 53

Nate Weinstock led the M-Cats with 17 points, all in the 2nd half, including the game-winning free throws with :14 left. Avi Schwartz added 13 points and Raanan Gewurz had 10. Peter Drukker’s 15 points led the Hawks (16-17) who also got 11 and 10 from Sam Siri and Ness Salem.

Girls All Star Game this weekend

The first-ever national Jewish girls all-star game is Saturday night at 9:30 pm at Montclair State University.

The FIDF Invitational features top Jewish Hoops America juniors and seniors in a contest between Yeshiva League All Stars and National All-Stars. Admission is free. The Yeshiva League All Stars include seniors Merle Kassab of Flatbush; Gila Neuer and Samantha Pruzansky of league champion Frisch; Ayelet Ostrin of Ma’ayanot; and Clara Rosen of SAR; and juniors Leila Sakhai of Ramaz and Daphna Steinmetz of SKA.
