Jake Borher’s 18 points led four players in double figures as the Heat (1-0 league; 2-1 overall) shook off a sluggish start. Jesse Abed and Ricky Sutton each scored 13 points and Noah Lindenbaum added 10. Gershi Liff scored a game-high 30 points for the Wolfpack (0-1), who led after the first quarter but couldn’t get closer than nine points in the fourth.
DRS 79 Schechter-Long Island 23
Gavriel Kahn scored 23 points and Ezra Sicklick added 10 to pace the Wildcats (1-0; 4-1)
Kushner 69 Ramaz 61
Gabe Plotsker had 16 points and 26 rebounds, Nadav Twizer also had 16 points and Ethan Wiater added 11 as the Cobras (1-1; 1-2) topped the Rams. Spencer Rubinstein led Ramaz with 17 points and Aaron Shapira scored 11.

This one was never in doubt as the Cougars (2-0) opened up leads of 8-0 and 20-4. Max Mayerhoff scored 19 points for Frisch and Max Zakheim added 11. Judah Oppenheimer paced the Sting (0-1) with 19 points.

Ethan Aaron scored 23 points and the Ravens (2-0; 4-1) held on when YDE missed a 3-pointer with seven seconds left. Benzy Schaffran added 13 points and Aaron Azose had 10.
