The 18th seeded Knights (9-14) fell to the #4 seed in the double elimination OFSAA Boys A playoffs.

Or Chaim Toronto 60 Rockway Mennonite Collegiate 54

The Knights (10-14) stayed alive by knocking out the #15 seed in an elimination game of the OFSAA A playoffs.

GL Roberts 61 Or Chaim Toronto 59

Benji Froom scored 21 points and the Knights (10-15) made it close but were eliminated by the #2 seed in the OFSAA A playoffs.


CALIFORNIA

Redding Christian 48 JCHS San Francisco 47

The 3rd seeded Wolves (21-7) led the undefeated #2 Lions for most of the game in the semifinals of the CIF NorCal Division 6 regionals but fell behind in the final minute and could not convert a shot in the waning seconds. Toby Holm led JCHS with 21 points and Moze Thurmgreene added 15 points. The 2018-19 Wolves set a team record for wins in a season and won a regional playoff game for the first time in school history.

YESHIVA LEAGUE

Magen David 59 DRS 51

In the semifinals, the Warriors (25-3) trailed by six at halftime but outscored the Wildcats (18-9) 39-25 in the second half to win their 11th straight game. Michael Natkin scored 19 points and Albert Nsiri added 12 to lead Magen David. Gavriel Kahn scored 16 points for DRS. Magen David will try to become the first team to repeat as league champs since HAFTR in 2002.

Heschel 54 Frisch 45

The Heat (21-8) put on a dominant defensive display after trailing by 11 two minutes into the 3rd quarter, limiting the Cougars (14-7) to just two field goals the rest of the way and outscoring them 31-11. Ricky Sutton led Heschel with 21 points, Jake Bohrer had 13 and Jesse Abed added 11. Max Zakheim led Frisch with 13 points, all in the first half.
