Joey Mishanie scored his team’s final 18 points on six 3-pointers, including the game winning shot with :03.2 left , as the Thunder (7-8) rallied from 11 down in the final 4:35. Mishanie had the game’s final 12 points after the Heat’s Zack Cytryn hit a 3-pointer to make it 49-39 with 2:49 left. The loss kept Hillel (15-6), the team with the top record in the Yeshiva League, from qualifying for Tier 1 in the tournament.

A Freddy Louz 3-pointer from the corner tied the game for the Stars (11-5) with :05 left but Heschel came down the court and won it on Alex Shapira’s jumper in the lane at the buzzer. Ben Poloner led the Heat (13-5) with 14 points, Ricky Sutton added 13 and Shapira finished with 9.

Albert Nsiri scored 18 points and Teddy Cohen added 10 to lead the Warriors (21-3) as the Heat (13-6) was a frigid 6-for-34 from the field.

The Wildcats (12-5) rallied from 12 down late in the first half and held on down the stretch to top the Heat (13-7). DRS was led by Jo Jo Velenski’s 20 points - including a buzzer beating 3-pointer to cut Heschel’s lead to 9 at halftime.

Daniel Totaiv hit a 3-pointer from the corner at the buzzer as the #11 Panthers (11-5) won their third straight and ended the #17 Wolfpack’s 14-game win streak, the longest this year in Jewish Hoops America. Aryeh Hirt led YULA with 11 points and Albert Fallas and Yaniv Silvera added 10 each. Johnny Dan and David Paz each scored 13 for Valley Torah (15-3), Alon Yehezkel and Yonah Hami added 12 each and Benji Dan had 10.

Matthew Jedwab and Jordan Appel each scored 11 points for the #9 Hawks (23-7), who had their 8-game win streak snapped.
