Ari Shuman’s 3-pointer from the corner with :04 left won it for #17 The Yeshiva (11-5) in the IHSA 1A regional semifinals. Schuman finished with a team-high 15 points and Frymie Karp and Dani Stein each scored 10. Jake Silvers and Ari Rosen each scored 11 for the #12 Tigers, who finish their season at 18-10.
Ida Crown 51- Beacon 50
The #21 Aces (12-9) held on at the end to reach the IHSA 1A regional final. Ida Crown managed just one point in the opening quarter, rallied to take an 8-point lead in the third quarter, fell behind by three in the fourth before rallying late. Benny Albom led the Aces with 17 points and Micah Cohen added 15.
