The SAR Sting, DRS Wildcats and Magen David Warriors each won their two preliminary games Sunday and will be the top three seeds in the quarterfinals of the Magen David Preseason Tournament.
Rounding out the eight seeds are five of the six teams that went 1-1 on Sunday, North Shore HA, JEC, YDE, Hillel and Ramaz.
Flatbush was the only 1-1 team not to qualify for the quarterfinals. The Falcons lost the Points Allowed tiebreaker to Ramaz, giving up 122 points while the Rams allowed 113. The three 0-2 teams, HAFTR, HANC and Magen Abraham, also didn’t qualify.
The matchups Tuesday night are:

Winners will play in the semifinals on Thursday. The championship game is Sunday night.

JEC 66 HAFTR 37
The Thunder scored the last seven points of the first half to lead 31-22 and then pulled away in the second half. JEC was led by Yosef Heller with 14 points and Eitan Speyer with 13.
Flatbush 67 Hillel 65
Isaac Cooper fed Zack Hassoun for the game-winning basket at the buzzer as the Falcons overcame 29 points from the Heat’s Elliot Braha. Cooper scored 20 points, Beni Keda had 12 and Hassoun finished with 11. Moses Smeke added 12 points for Hillel.
Magen David 73 Ramaz 62
Asher Melamed scored 22 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, Mark Sardar added 15 points and Jesse Cohen had 12 points as the Warriors won their opener. Sam Ostad led the Rams with 21 points and Milan Kushner had 12. The first quarter took nearly 40 minutes as 18 fouls were called. For the game the teams combined for 56 fouls and 70 free throws.
Hillel 69 HAFTR 38
The Heat bounced back from their loss at the buzzer to overwhelm the Hawks. Moses Smeke led Hillel with 17 points and Elliot Braha and Eddie Kassin added 16 each. Sam Siri led HAFTR with 15 points.
North Shore HA 50 JEC 38
David Orbach scored 17 points and Jonah Carmili added 15 to lead the Stars. Akiva Sepieka paced the Thunder with 11.
YDE 45 HANC 37
Isaac Faham had 14 points to lead the Thunder.
Ramaz 50 Magen Abraham 40
Milan Kushner paced the Rams with 29 points. The Kings were led by Albert Sweid’s 15 points.
DRS 57 Flatbush 45
Stephen Olshin led the Wildcats with 20 points and Alex Millstone added 14. Isaac Cooper had 20 points for the Falcons.
Magen David 72 HANC 26
The Warriors scored 33 points in the first quarter and were never threatened. Asher Melamed led them with 27 points.
SAR 48 YDE 32
Jonah Sokol led the Sting with 12 points.
DRS 63 Magen Abraham 36
Stephen Olshin had 18 points and Alex Millstone scored 16 to lead the Wildcats.
SAR 49 North Shore HA 39
Itai Berkowitz hit four 3-pointers en route to 16 points and Benny Neuwirth added 13 points for the Sting. David Orbach led the Stars with 16 points.
