Meir Eisen added 14 points and Ezra Frieden and Judah Pardau each scored 10. Ben Farkas led the Warriors (1-4) with 31 points and David Saka had 10.

A round-robin game against a Division 1 opponent was a tall order for the D5 Lions in the Luis Macias Tournament at Santa Ana High School. The Lions were outscored 31-2 in the opening quarter and after scoring 13 in the second quarter managed just four points after halftime.

Isaac Solomon took a long inbounds pass and banked in an 18-footer at the buzzer as the Wildcats (2-0; 11-0) rallied to beat the Warriors (2-1; 5-2) in Brooklyn for the second time this season. Ari Saffra led DRS with 16 points and Solomon finished with 8. It appeared the teams were headed to overtime following a loose ball at halfcourt. But one of the refs heard DRS’ request for a timeout with :02 left, setting up Solomon’s heroics. Mark Sardar led Magen David with 12 points and Ben Gindi added 10.
