Milan Kushner’s putback off his own miss with :01.4 left won it for the Rams (3-3), after they had rallied from a 14-point third-quarter deficit. After a TABC 3-pointer put the Storm up 25-24 late in the first half Ramaz led only two times, a 1-point advantage early in overtime and then the winning margin. Kushner led the Rams with 17 points and Eden Bracha added 15, including 9-of-12 from the free throw line. Tzvi Schreiber led the Storm (0-3) with 19 points

Alex Gabbay’s 15 points led four players in double figures for the Panthers (2-1), who jumped out to an 18-5 lead and then weathered two rallies before pulling away in the 4th quarter. Yoni Holender added 11 points and Daniel Yasharpour and Josh Barak each had 10. Asher Falk had 19 points for the Cougars (0-3).

Second game in four hours, plus some injuries, took their toll on the Panthers (2-2) as the Sting (6-1) closed the first half on a 13-0 run to lead 26-8 and cruise from there. Itai Berkowitz led SAR’s balanced attack with 10 points. Yishai Rosenblatt and Yoni Holender each scored 8 for YULA.

Aaron Heumann’s corner trey with 2:25 left in overtime put the Cougars (4-1) up 48-46 and the M-Cats (1-2) didn’t score again. Maimonides rallied from an 11-point 2nd quarter deficit and the two teams traded the lead in the 4th.

Noam Mayouhas scored 23 points and Johny Dan added 22 as the Wolfpack (2-1) held off a late 4th quarter rally. Ben Farkas had 28 points for the Warriors (1-2).

The Firehawks (4-0) faced their first deficit of the tournament in the opening minutes and trailed by seven midway through the second quarter. But they closed the half on a 15-2 run to lead 31-25 and the Panthers never threatened in the 2nd half.

Stephanie Pruzansky led Frisch (4-0) with 17 points as they won the Battle of the Cougars for the second time in the tournament. Maayan Zakheim led Berman with 14 points.
