Twelve teams, including six ranked in the Jewish Hoops America Top 18, will participate this weekend in the 17th annual Captain Hyman P. Galbut Girls Basketball Shabbaton in Miami.
In addition to the host H.A. Miami Warriors, the teams include Central, Fuchs Mizrachi, HAFTR, Hillel NJ, Hustle & Heart, Hyman Brand H.A., Ida Crown, Katz YHS, Margolin H.A., YULA and Frisch JV.
Each team will play in two preliminary games Wednesday and Thursday to determine seeding. The play-in games and quarterfinals are scheduled for Friday. The consolation and semifinal games with be Saturday night with the championship game at midnight.
