The Magen David Warriors won their tournament for the third straight year, holding off a pesky Hillel Heat team 59-52 in the championship game.
The game was close through three quarters before Magen David opened the fourth with a 15-2 run to take control.
Albert Nsiri led the Warriors (3-0) with 16 points and Jo Sultan added 15. Mo Tobias of the Heat (3-1) had 21 points and 16 rebounds, Max Cytryn added 13 points and Joe Zekaria scored 11.
Hillel led by one at the end of the first quarter and Magen David took a two point lead at the half, 24-22. The Warriors went up by 10 midway through the third quarter but Hillel closed the gap to 37-35 by ending the quarter on a 9-1 run.
The Warriors have won nine straight games at the tournament, with their last loss coming to DRS in the 2016 semifinals.
