The Rams (3-1) hit six 3-pointers before they hit their second 2-point field goal and led the Firehawks by as many as 10 in the first half before Shalhevet rallied in the second.

The Firehawks (4-0) used a 10-2 run to close the first half up by three. But the Cougars (2-2) stayed close and trailed by only four heading into the 4th when Shalhevet pulled away for the title.

The game was close throughout with no one leading by more than three after MTA jumped out to a 4-0 lead. Offense was tough to come by as teams combined for just 18 second half points.
